The matter of sleeping during PK 785/26.4.17 is absolutely baseless, it is a part of conspiracy by those who always tried to Malign our National Career and me, It is not the first time that I was wrongly accused during my 40 years of unblemished career due to my pro airline and anti union sentiments and decisions specially during the tenure as Palpa President.
1. The matter was not reported nor was mentioned during or even after the flight by any of the crew member, Senior purser says “she only reacted to Passengerʼs EMAIL once she was told by her colleagues (conspiracy, because Email came week after her report)
Investigator of PIA BRIG MOHD ASIF also referred to the same GHOST EMAIL but later REGRETTED and said “ PASSENGER NEVER REPORTED THAT “CAPTAIN AMIR HASHMI EVER SLEPT ON PASSENGER SEAT IN BUSINESS CLASS” I respect his honesty and acceptance of his mistake which was due to his staff who were also part of the conspiracy.
I REQUEST MEMBERS OF THIS RESPECTED COMMITTEE TO READ THESE EMAILS OF THE PASSENGER, WHERE SENIOR PURSER AS WELL AS THE PIA INVESTIGATOR SOLELY RELIED ON, AND PREPARED THEIR REPORTS.
2. Show cause Notice was given to me on the basis of media report where the image is of the Night flight where as the Flight was of day time, Director HR (Mr. Raheel Ahmed) never even bothered to verify the picture and itʼs report before writing SCN on mere DAWN report, also lied that media report was confirmed by the Investigator, who denied in his written statement.
PIA did not even wait for my reply within seven days given by themselves, suspension letter was given to me in a haste to avoid their incompetency (in writing SCN)
I have sent a LEGAL NOTICE to DAWN along with the complaint in PRESS COUNCIL OF PAKISTAN.
3. All Three Operating Pilots were B777 Rated Certified by CAA Pakistan, Their Licences Have been submitted in SHC as well, and
None of the Pilots left the Cockpit for more than 15 minutes, although, it would have been absolutely safe as all of us were fully trained to tackle all sorts of emergencies single handedly. ( I certify this statement as an aviation expert having more experience than anyone else in PIA or CAA)
Suddenly, PCAA first REVOKED my Licence, later within two days they withdrew their letter and suspended it WITHOUT EVEN CALLING ME for INQUIRY or any SHOW CAUSE NOTICE etc, ignoring SHC orders and also acted against the Natural Justice as per the constitution of Pakistan.
Due to all of above concrete evidences with documentary proofs, I request this high level forum to
(A) Instruct PIA and PCAA to withdraw suspension letters with immediate effect
(B) Give me salary as per PIA Policy PPM 15.03.02, or Cash my LPR of past Eight months due to extremely slow process of Inquiry taking 8 months without an outcome with restriction on travel
at the same time at the behest of Anti PIA Mafia.
I have already suffered since 2008 when previous management refused to give me ‘releaseʼ against its own rule, and I lost a huge opportunity to join gulf carrier.
