Forget craft beer. The next craze is non-alcoholic brews
ArKay Beverages is opening in June 2018 a brand new bottling plant in Laredo Texas on a 5 acres land, the plant will produce craft alcohol free beers and cocktails bottled in 12 FL OZ glass bottles.
It’s still a very niche segment, but big brewers are scrambling to get in on the action.
That’s because drinkers are turning to brews that don’t come with a buzz. They’re increasingly worried about the health risks associated with alcohol.
Anheuser-Busch InBev, which launched non-alcoholic versions of Budweiser and Corona in 2016, predicts that low or alcohol-free beer will make up a stunning 20% of its sales by 2025.
Heineken released a competitor — Heineken 0.0 — last May and Guinness owner Diageo followed suit in January with Open Gate Pure Brew.
Carlsberg, which has been producing alcohol-free beer since 2015, expects revenue for that product to grow three times faster than overall beer sales.
Brewers are responding to changing consumer tastes, but there’s another powerful incentive driving the trend: Non-alcoholic beer generates 1.5 times more revenue because there’s no alcohol tax to pay.
Advertising language is already becoming more positive, according to Euromonitor International. Ads tout what the beer has to offer in terms of flavors and natural ingredients, while steering away from its lack of alcohol.
Heineken said the alcohol-free beer market is growing 9% a year in the U.K.
“When people taste Arkay non-alcoholic beer, the first thing they say is ‘it tastes like beer!’ and I have to remind them that it is a beer. They can’t get their head around it,” Richard Simmons said.
Arkay non-alcoholic beer collection offers 12 popular flavors in Dark, Amber and Lager brewed – Bittersweet – Candy – Cinnamon – Ginger Dark : – Chocolate – Coffee – Licorice Lager : – Bitter Lemon – Honey – Grape Fruit – Natural – Tequila, the taste being identical to the best craft beer that are available on the market.
Arkay N/A beer will not be brewed like conventional alcohol free beers which may contains 0.05 % Alcohol, ArKay N/A beer is a genuine ZERO ABV BEER thanks to a new brewing process removing the yeasts stopping the risks of fermentation https://arkaybeverages.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/beers2018.pdf
Arkay is also launching this spring a collection of alcohol free beers sold in RECYCLABLE PET KEGS specially packaged for bars and restaurants dispensing alcohol free beer on draft.
Alcohol by volume
It is defined as the number of milliliters (mL) of pure ethanol present in 100 mL of solution at 20 °C (68 °F).
The number of milliliters of pure ethanol is the mass of the ethanol divided by its density at 20 °C, which is 0.78924 g/m. The ABV standard is used worldwide. The International Organization of Legal Metrology has tables of density of water–ethanol mixtures at different concentrations and temperatures.
In some countries, such as the U.K and France, alcohol by volume is referred to as degrees Gay-Lussac (after the French chemist Joseph Louis Gay-Lussac), although there is a slight difference since Gay-Lussac used 15 °C (59 °F).
0% Alcohol by volume
Alcohol free, or non-alcoholic beverages, are non-alcoholic versions of typically alcoholic beverages.
0% ABV Malt does not contain alcohol, hence it is not an alcoholic beverage.
‘’In order to continue its expansion Arkay Beverages has put in place a Private Placement Memorandum to raise funds from friend and family and so far investors from all over the world are participating ‘ Said Richard Simmons President of Arkay Beverages
